The Confederation of British Industry speaks on behalf of 190,000 businesses. Together they employ nearly 7 million people, about one-third of the private sector-employed workforce.
The CBI is a Royal Charter organisation, governed by the CBI Council, which is comprised of all the members of the CBI’s Regional and National Councils, Standing Committees, Chairs’ Committee, President’s Committee and the CBI Board.
